Koenigsegg CCXR... not going anywhere fast..

Oh come on...

So he deserves to have his supercar suspension scratched (criminal damage btw) by some goon because of a minor parking violation?

Utter insanity. If the clampers were not such ****'s and went in and asked someone politely to move or they would be clamped, the person might have even given them a cash tip to get them to leave the car alone

So you're suggesting bribary is okay to have their cars left alone? As for parking on a road you've paid road tax for, I have to use that road quite frequently and there's good reason for the parking restrictions. Thier cars will be an obstruction and a danger to others using the road that they have 'paid' to use. The restrictions are quite clear. There's places they could have parked legally. There's no excuse really.

If some utter monkey scratched my Koenigsegg powder coated wishbones and god knows what else under there, not to mention the hideously expensive and beautiful alloy wheels, they would have their clamp inserted deep into one of their bodily orifices.

TBH, they probably don't care - they could just pay to have them re-poweder coated if it bothered them.

To be fair, if I had that much money, I'd just keep parking it and paying the fine.

Exactly, I was having a loko at thier returns for last year and they would earn £70 in interest on thier profits in 3 minuites.

A stationery car is a now a "danger" ?

LOL.

Health and safety Britain gone mad. I bet they even give you plastic knives and forks at school now for health and safety reasons.

Sigh...

Anyway its the principal not the money... why should a bunch of monkeys be allowed to damage someones expensive property and not suffer the consequences for doing so?

Yes, it is causing an obstruction and posing a risk for pedstrians and motorists. It's bad enough with all the stupid taxis and buses in the area. If you can't work out how an illegally parked vehicle could be an obstruction and a danger then I feel sorry for you.

If we're talking about principle here, why shouldn't a couple of billionaires adhere to the same rules you and I have to follow?

Because generally speaking, the more money you have the bigger influence and more important you are.

You or others may not like that, but its pretty much a fact in this day and age isnt it.

I would be MOST annoyed if I wasnt able to bribe someone to get off a speeding ticket or parking fine if I had a hypercar like that.

Whats so bad about having to walk round a supercar? I could understand if some rubbish old banger was there with holes in its bodywork, but these things should be an exception to the rule. A bit of discression wouldnt go amiss you know.

Why is the UK turning into a school playground, with everyone suing each other, snitching, moaning, and jumping on the "its the rules" bandwagon whenever someone does something they dont like ?

Live and let live.

Do the forum a favour and carry out your calor gas bottle fireworks display as per one of your inane threads. Preferably in your living room.

Please tell me that you aren't serious? You think people with money should have different rules?

It's pointless trying to discuss anything with a banned forum member with an axe to grind.

Oh god Jane not again!!

What is your problem? For the last time (please), I am not someone else, I have not been banned, I am not whoever you think I am.

I admit to being a lurker for a period of time, and inevitably you pick things up and forum "trends" etc, but cant you just drop it?

Sure I speak my mind, and I suppose my sometimes abrubt/direct way of phrasing things may not be to everyones taste, but I mean no harm really. I think you know that.

I also dont understand what the issue is with people with more money? We all know money talks, I think that if you have the money you certainly should be able to get yourself out of "situations" that perhaps poor people couldnt buy their way out of.

Thats the way of the world im afraid, and also my opinion!

Someone I used to know managed to get out of doing 168mph in his Porsche one one occasion, with a £10K per day solicitor that got him off on a techicality. You have to respect that I feel.

Go away?

Well TangoSixteen, the pure fact that these two wealthy men with two exclusive and expensive vehicles have been clamped indicates that regardless of your wealth and social standing, you can still get caught out.

Money doesn't buy you justice, it buys you a bloody good lawyer. It isn't rocket. I don't have a problem with you posting what's on your mind, but as long as rubbish comes out, myself and others will be happy to disagree and point out where you're talking rubbish.
