Hello,

Hoping you guys can help, I’ve been building mining computers for the past few weeks and have 3 rigs consisting of of 12x Gtx 1070’s running smoothly. All of them have 2x Kolink Continuum 1500W PSU’s.

I recently ordered another 4 and all of them have died. Most of them didn't last an hour, one survived for a day. They all died while idle on Windows, half with 2 cards plugged in so I’m pretty sure it’s not overloaded.

I thought It might be the motherboard but it looks okay and the case is made of wood with only the metal screws and rubber risers touching the motherboard.

All their manufacturing numbers are next to each other so I’m thinking I somehow got a bad batch? My friend who also bought 2 at the same time had the same issues and his are dead, they were also in the same batch as mine.

It seems like too big of coincidence which makes me think there’s an issue somewhere but I’ve now replaced the PSU’s with a Silverstone and have no issues.:confused:

Spoke too soon, broke 2 of the Silverstones earlier today. I'm thinking maybe I'm overloading the actual plug socket - I've got 6PSU's plugged into extensions that go back to the socket.

Going to speak to someone who knows about electricity and find out.
