Available for preorder now, we have the new Kolink Classic and Modular 80+ Bronze 230V EU Power supplies. The Classic and Modular series build on the original KL Bronze units from Kolink, adding improved internal designs including DC-DC conversion and a 120mm fan with fine tuned RPM curve for quiet operation. All the units now come with flat black cables as standard and a new fan grille. In fact the entire design of the PSU is a step up from the previous iteration, even if most of you hide it behind a PSU shroud ;) .

The warranty has been increased to 3 years for the entire range, and the wattages range from 400W - 700W wired, and 500W - 700W Modular. Stock will arrive in the next 10-14 days and represents another solid upgrade from Kolink.

I have an old 4 core Xeon socket 1366 motherboard that i want to get up and running , i think will give the 400 or 500 classic a look. I dont want to spend on a high end premium psu for pc over 10 years old. are there any more budget cases coming out in the next month Kolink or Bitfenix

Plenty on the way from Kolink in the next few months at various pricepoints, some really nice stuff actually :)

Yeh, I know, I'm a dying breed that doesn't use SSDs.
 
Ive pre-ordered the 500w classic. Will be going in an old x58 PC which is assembled ready in the Kolink case that was on the Halloween deal. I will post pics up when it arrives and is installed.

At least they are matching most of the other budget psu warranties now at 3 years. Nice looking ribbon cables as well although it would be nice to see what gauge wiring they have used. The 12v rails are stronger on these units but they still have that disclaimer for 24/7 usage that no other manufacturer feels the need to state. It would be nice to see what temp these units were rated at as well. From the specs these could be HEC built units so we will have to wait for proper reviews to see if there are any quality in the internals.

It's a step above the previous iterations. Let's be honest, they are never going to challenge Super Flower or Seasonic, but I'd say they are dependable enough for up to mid range systems, especially with the internal DC-DC conversion improvements and better warranty.
