Hello I was just wondering if someone could help me - I currently have the RGB fans preinstalled in this case plugged in to my PSU via molex in to the adaptor - As far as I can tell I do not have RGB fan support on my motherboard but I was wondering if I am missing something in regards to changing the speed of the fans as they are at full speed at the moment as there is nothing to control them.

I'm just wondering if someone can help me to reduce the noise?

I just received one and it looks like the hub only controls the RGB and the fans run at 100%.

Mine doesn't even work and I may be missing an IR (remote receiver) sensor. Do you have a sensor that plugs in the 2 pin connector (imgur.com/jys1aJi) next to the power connector?
 
OK I did some digging and Lian li use the same controller except due to penny pinching the Kolink controller doesn't have the speed control cable that I can see.

So you could buy one of those to get fan speed control but you can;t buy it separately! 2 pin is for the speed control.

I just plugged everything in and the remote worked?

So are you saying that the 2 pin sensors can’t be purchased seperately? Thanks for finding that video!
 
:) my controller was already mounted in the case and someone had plugged the fans in 4, 5 & 6 and that's why the RGB wasn't working! There is no separate sensor it's in the hub case. OCUK support implied I was probably missing an IR receiver but that's not the case so all I did was rotate the hub 180 and used 1, 2 & 3.

If the Kolink hub is the same as the Lian Li bar the laser etched letters then all we need is the wire/wires that go from the 2 pin connector to a motherboard fan connector (must be PWM). The Lian Li has the 2 pins integrated in to 4 pin molex power connector wiring so i'm not exactly sure where each pin goes but I may play futher.

I was already able to cobble a variable resistor from various adapters I have lying around but it's not ideal and not neat.

As usual they have everything on Ebay.com but not here.

Comparing the diagram to the Kolink circuit board shows a possible difference. The 12V+ from the 4 molex connector in the diagram (Lian Li) on the Kolink circuit board idicates 5V+

So unless I can get an image of the Lian Li circuit board to compare as it stands they may be slightly different.

That would mean making up a mini wiring loom and either soldering direct to the circuit board or trying to find a small 2 pin connector to match. For me that's not worth the effort as I'm not bothered by the fans.

One of the 4 pin Molex to 4 pin Molex inline variable resistor boxes would be easier though not easy to get.

This sounds very similar to my problem. I've got a Kolink case with rgb fans with a similar looking controller, I wanted to add a rear fan so I picked up a generic rgb 120mm fan from the bay with a 6 pin connector which in appearance looks identical to the six pin connectors on the case fans. Of course I plugged it in and nothing happens, no spin, no lights. I think some of these manufacturers use a different pin/wiring config to what you'd expect. Problem is I can't find any identification on the controller to enable me to use the correct fans.
