Doubt it, less powered engines and the same tyre situation - it will be worse. I doubt Adrian Newey is going anywhere either.

No but there is only so much money you can throw at anything, I would expect the top teams to run a similar development program to us and in timescales of a season you can only develop a certain amount due to time and labour restraints. Maybe you know more about the time constraints of a F1 team than me, in which case, you are right and i am wrong.

I never said you were wrong or right so don't get all worked up again. You will know how much Red Bull spend down to the last penny :)

do you honestly expect me to answer that. What i said before though is true, you are restricted by time as to what you can spend. the FIA restrict wind tunnel time and CFD which in turn restricts what you can physically spend on development.

Time is the biggest killer though as it dont matter how much money a team has, they cant stop time.

When you say you are restricted by time, do you mean that there is a limited number of man hours that can be spent on development, or do you just mean that the car has to be finished by a certain time?

I know your wind tunnel and CFD hours are limited but, if physical man hours are not limited then having more people working on different ideas to be submitted for CFD and wind tunnel testing has got to be an advantage. If you have a bigger budget then you can afford to hire more people. (not trying to be a pain here, i'm genuinely curious)

Also, I know you cant talk about what your budget is because it is almost certainly confidential, but when all bar one of the teams are in favour of a budget cap, it doesn't take a genius to work out that the one team vetoing the budget cap is spending considerably more than the suggested budget cap and the others aren't.
 
the lads we have can only work so many hours and bits take time to build. as a example, a new set of FTWB's will take a week to make. One mistake and a weeks work is out of the window, it happens as well.
