KOTOR and KOTOR II

Ive been recently replaying kotor as a dark side character (so much fun). And it flys on my new gfx card etc. 1600x res and all ingame options max. Smooth as butter.

well im on manaan talking to the fishies, just beat up all the sith in the base and got nicked but blagged my way out of it. now its time to go "unda da sea" to get me some star map action.

i love going under the sea in the first kotor lol, with that ray gun or what ever it is to fend off the big bag fishys!!!

Thanks, I started playing all nice again (fault of my nature) and forgot that I hadn't completed this as a dark character. Nastiness forthcoming

I played KOTOR on the Xbox and was completely hooked...I took days of work and played 'til my eyes hurt. Great game with a great storyline.

When I played KOTOR II I just couldn't believe it...the game was playable and bearable throughout but, in my opinion, is a pale immitation of the first KOTOR.

When I read about the content sacrificed in the drive to get it out on time I understood why the game felt a little empty. What a great pity.

I also remember the high review scores that this game got when it came out. Some games will never get the poor review scores they deserve!

agreed. KOTOR2 was poor in comparison, really bad story line too...

jade Empire was quite good too, although rather short

I'm pretty sure Bioware have decided to work only on their own licenses now. So Dragon Age and that console game. As far as I know, they're not interested in working on other licenses, such as Star Wars.

I'd love to read otherwise though.

Still, I'd be happy if Obsidian got KotOR 3 so long as they weren't hurried for release.

well im 22 hours in, i have just finished on Korriban, killed uthar and got all the goodies, on my way to Kashyyk i got nabbed by the fuzz though. HK-47 to the rescue!

well thats it, game complete in a shade under 31 hours. all light side/neutral quests completed, the cat woman and bastilla both turned.

despite knowing exactly what was going to happen i still really enjoyed it again. brilliant script and very well excecuted by bioware.

annoyances are few and far between, the slowness of walking in the underwater suit and the space suit drove me nuts. and listening to passage after passage of chat in alien (and so having to read the subs) did my head in once more. canny complain though, great game.
