KOTOR III

Definitely KOTOR III needs to be an offline game. A return of Carth and Bastila, Revan (of course), and that sarcastic robot from KOTOR I & II. Just make the game as big as possible, so it lasts a long time...

Good point meatbag :p

If you want to play a game where everyones a Jedi just play Star Wars Galaxies :p

Although I'd love SWG beater, I don't think KOTOR is the IP to do it. Jedi are what sent it on a long downward spiral, that kind of thing just doesn't work in a MMO. KOTOR works too well as a single player game and that's how I'd like to see it return.

It would be more interesting for those MMORPG fans, as the KOTOR universe is so much more interesting than that of the Star Wars Saga universe (I know it's the same, but the 4000 year difference makes it a lot better).

I think that since both are sort of interlinked, it just gives ya a great feeling about how that KOTOR past has led to the actual SW future that we know in the movies.

As for whether it would be online one, I wouldnt mind it that much tbh as long as its well made. That was my problem with Galaxies! It was supposed to be a SW game but it was just some kind of endless grinding fest(and I was even not trying to be a Jedi for which people say it takes longer). Not to mention that it was sort of missing the SW atmosphere. Im personally not lured to play online games easily(there is the lack of time factor nowadays too) but I reckon that if there is a game that would really rock in this type of gaming market, it should be a SW related one (Galaxies disappointed on achieving that)!

KOTOR III with the NWN2 engine could be very entertaining.... Especially if they allow more classes/less railroading than in one and two.

I'd like to see some form of balancing the force powers. In my experience, playing a Sith Lord in Kotor II was too easy, the dark side powers are way too overpowered. Now don't get me wrong, its fun playing an evil Sith, and lets face it, you turn to the dark side so you get all the flashy light show force powers, but there needs to be some downside to going down that route.

Similarly, there needs to be more to do for the light side, other then "paladin" style buffing powers - because essentially it boils down to the light side characters relying mostly on combat.

Its also much easier playing darkside I think, because if you get some decent lightsabres (my latest play through I had two normal length sabres with 10-49/15-44 stats, plus a whole load of stats, and yes I could basically cut anyone down - but I never needed too with Death Field and Force Storm. Way too easy.

I'd agree with that, but it's a tricky one to implement in a CRPG. If it was PnP (Pen and Paper), the dark Jedi would own combat, but would have many more problems with other aspects (interaction, negotiation etc) due to their alignment, which is where the balance thing comes in. He'd also be much more likely to suffer random assassination attempts, coup attempts and so on.

I'm not sure about this, offensive powers don't fit in with light side Jedi that much, but again, more RP, less combat would improve this somewhat by showing the differences between the two sides, more focus on skills/class abilities wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Definitely

KOTOR III would be ok if it was like Neverwinter Nights or Guild Wars, that kind of online game, where you just team up to do quests, but the world isnt constant.

Guild Wars in a star wars universe would be pretty good i reckon.
