Kraken x62 and AM4 - not secure - help!

Hi all,

Just putting together the new build and am a little concerned by the fact that my cooler doesn't seem to be held securely onto the cpu - using a Kraken x62 and MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon.

I removed the original cooler clips but left the backplate, installed the standoffs and am4 bracket, then placed the pump onto the cpu and tightened the thumbscrews, but it seems to wobble - standoffs seem too long.

Are you definitely using the AM4 standoffs and the AM4 block bracket? I just installed an X52 on the same board last night and it is tight and snug.

You are using the wrong standoffs. The correct ones have a sort of extra tube bit on the bottom.

Thanks all - sorted now. Nothing about am4 in the instructions so was slightly confused!
