Kumho rubber?

The point everyone is missing is that whilst in isolation Kumho might be alright they dont do anything better than the proper performance rubber bar cost less. So if he is not happy with Potenza RE050A levels of grip, Kumho is going to be even worse.

In "normal" driving perhaps, but if you start to push on even a little or have to stop quickly particually in the wet a massive difference will emerge.

Kumho KU31's are a cracking tyre for the price. I put some on the rear of my 'teg and to be fair they weren't a million miles away from the Yoko Advan AD07's that were on previously. Very good bang-per-buck tyre.

People seem to have the assumption that Kumho's are on a par with crap like Ling-Long etc, but the truth is they are a pretty good mid-range tyre.

Having said that, Fox makes a good point. If you don't like the Bridgestone RE050A's, what makes you think a mid-range tyre is going to be any better

What did you not like about the bridgestone RE050A's out of interest? I use these and have absolutely no complaints at all, excellent life combined with grip levels beyond what i have ever dared to test.

I was about to ask the same
