kvm spec

need a kvm swicth to switch between my main rig (windows XP) and my Shuttle (Vista and Ubuntu) and it has to have USB and audio. i was looking at the belkin omniview but the reviews aren't great and it says Windows o/s only. need specing for an alternative.

I use an Aten CS1734A - it also has enough power to drive my G11 illuminated keyboard. However I need to connect my wireless mouse and keyboard it's USB hub ports rather than the dedicated mouse and keyboard ports. (The Aten can also act as a switchable USB hub)

I also have an Aten CS64 petite. This worked with both my mouse and keyboard (but no illumination) so I mothballed it.

Both claim to work with Linux, Mac and Sun systems as well.

i'm still using a CRT monitor as i like my resolution quite high which TFT doesn't do so i'm having to convert dvi to vga anyway so it's not really a problem.
