KVM Switch

Will a KVM switch work ok to use 2 pcs with one monitor when;

one pc uses Windows Vista and the other uses Windows XP?

The keyboard & mouse are wireless?

I don't see why there would be a problem...A KVM just switches between each system, then uses the display for that system.

So long as the KVM supports the O/s I don't see there being a problem in all honesty? Someone else may want to shed some light on the subject though

AFAIK KVM switches must use PS/2 KB and mouse. Wireless wont work unless theres some tech I missed. I was trying to buy a 16 port switch for work and they dont even seem to do them with USB interfaces either.

Regarding USB, I believe we have used Ps/2 to usb dongles with the KVM, but wireless I don't know about...I missed that part in the OP

Done it myself using a belkin usb kvm switch and a wireless keyboard (but wired mouse).
