l4d 40% off this weekend

FFS...I paid full price for this last friday and i'm already bored of it :(

Before anyone asks, yup, i've been playing online, I have downloaded other maps, i've tried all game modes at all diffculties...it's just too samey :(
 
Sorry, just the way I feel, even after just a week the repetition is killing me, sneak, stalk, get pinned by hunter, oh there's a boomer, someone got spewed on, kill the horde...important checkpoint, kill the horde again, shhh...don't startle the witch...rinse and repeat for each map. Sure there are an abundance of maps to play, but the actual style is just boring me no end.

I will admit the satisfaction of killing multitudes of zombies is fun for about 10 minutes at the start of each new game, reminds me a lot of the serious sam silliness years ago.

Have you played Vs much? That's where the fun is - you've not even mentioned playing *as* infected.

As I stated in my first post about l4d "i've tried all game modes at all diffculties"...it's just one of those cases of the game not grabbing me. I'm more fed up that I could have bought this week cheaper and wouldn't be feeling as sore about it now.
 
Ah, I was interested for a while, but I hate multiplayer games, especially ones where you have to communicate via headsets or whatever. Might be worth checking out at this price, though...
