L4D, is it really worth the price of a full game

It really angers me that people are worried about the price tag of L4D. Most people pay similar amounts for story driven FPS games that are played once or twice through. I've already got way, way more playtime out of L4D. It's awesome value for money.

It's just a fantastically fun game. More content to come is just an awesome thought!

I'm wondering the same thing.. demo was good but the MP was a bit temperamental (too many players who wouldn't play seriously) so I played a lot of the SP.

Is it worth it without have any friends to play with? I don't know anyone who's got it :(

u dont need friends there's so many ocuk'ers who play everyday just add them to your friend list and they'll invite you when theres a need of players

I loved the demo and bought it on the day it came out, worth every penny and it is a game that cant be beaten when playing with mates when your on vent. Surprisingly I haven't played it as much as I thought I would but its always nice to have it there when I'm in the mood :P

L4D takes Online playing to another level, It is a Benchmark that people will use for years into the future.
It is Well worth Full retail, On top of that the longer it takes you to get into it the further behind you will be left by the rest of us.
Also remember the Engine that is being used & just how likely it is to get Many quality mods for Nowt.

Most Importantly though this is more than a game as this is Training for when it Actually happens irl, I am ready, Are You ? :D

Well, I've paid the same price for games which lasted a grand total of ten to fifteen hours - I've put well over four times that amount of time into L4D and, as long as you play for fun (whatever your definition of that is) then you should have a blast. I'd suggest not waiting though, or else the hordes (pun intended) of people playing it might dwindle.

I dont think the hordes will dwindle as it has a lot of potential for modding as well. Personally its the only game Ive been playing lately.

If you loved the demo you just cant go wrong, not only is it worth the price of a full game, its better value than any of the 'full' games ive played in quite a while.

yeah its a great game worth its money but this is not the point. it could and should be cheaper when you look at the content it provides.

Do we have a list of OcUK people with this with mics?

I only really enjoy games where I can have some decent banter with my fellow players.

Awesome game and it is worth the full price as the amount of playtime you will get out of it will far exceed gtaiv trust me don't worry just buy it and start having the fun :D.
