La Cuisine Deal! 4 piece Analon pan set. £88. Debenhams.

The lifetime guarantee is tempting me more.

How deep are the sides of the skillet? Because 95% of my food atm is cooked using a wok so I'm not sure whether the skillet will be deep enough.

And you can use metal utensils without worrying about the non-stick becoming non non-stick?

The sides are almost as deep as a packet of green rizla, couple of cm in it. They aren't wok deep, but deeper than most frying pans.

Definitely can't use metal utensils with these, for that you'd need a pan with the non stick coating actually built into the pan like scanpan rather than applied onto the surface.

Ah ok thanks. I don't really use pans other than for boiling stuff, but I think that might be because they aren't non-stick. Tempting!

Any wooden spoon ok? Or is silicon best?

I prefer wooden (await peeps saying they are unsanitary...... They have been ok for the past few thousand years).

The alternatives are usually nylon or similar, I just never really like them TBH.

Wooden spoons fine.
But other wood utensils fish slice type stuff is to thick, so you need silicon type stuff, but with a high temperature, most of them can't handle the heat, but there are some rated o ET 200c

Ahhhh I'm sold! Seeing as these will last pretty much forever, it's worthwhile investing in a decent set. Especially as the bottom of my wok isn't flat; it's in about 3 different sections haha.
The wooden spoons I have atm are too thick if I were to make things like pancakes or something so I'll probably get a silicon fish slice or something some day.

I bought a set of these last weekend. I didnt know anything about the brand, it just seemed like a good deal and we needed to replace a scratched up non stick saucepan. I am pleased to see the pans getting so much hype in this thread, suggests I made a good choice.
