And not replaced, so the lives being saved just wouldn't ever exist. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for doing what we can, I like the idea of printed meat, but there should be no illusion that it's saving a life.

You have not lived if you haven't dunked a slice of brioche loaf into a mug of Earl Grey. This is a little known fact but once you dunk, you never go back.

People only know what meat tastes like to grow it in the labs because they have eaten the "mean to the poor little animals" meat. Therefore vegetarians and especially vegans are not allowed to eat the deliciousness that is lab grown meat.
