Lacing up trainers

If you where trendy trainers at all, what is the best way to lace them up?

I ruined mine the other day so bought two pairs today. Each one is laced differently and I can't decided on the best method of stringing them up.

It depends what kinda footwear they are. Usually if they are smartish (shoes, pumps, plimsoles) then they are in straight lines. But trainers and most other footwear would just criss-cross across themself.

If at least one is already laced up, I just copy it for the other one. Doesn't matter to me.

I find that feeding the laces through the holes really helps.
