Ok Im waiting for my bits to arrive to put together my new h440 watercooled build and I've been worried that my current pump might not be powerfull enough for my loop.

My cooling setup is:
EK XT360 front
Magicool slim 280 top
EK supremacy cpu
Alphacool cape corp 25lt tune res
EK full cover gtx980 ti waterblock
3/8" ID 1/2" OD tubing
Laing DDC 3.1 10w with alphacool top 420lph 3.7m head

I'm happy enough my with 10w DDC with bitspower top/res combo running;

2 x XSPC ex280 rads
EK supreme HF CPU block
290x ek full cover block.

I'm sure it will be fine.

I've always been unsure when it comes to pump flow rates and always just opted to buy a D5 and set it at 5 but I can't afford to invest that much in a pump this time so I need to shop smart if that makes sense

I'm sure it will be ok. Its not exactly a complex loop you got. If a 10w isnt good enough for 1x CPU and 1x GPU, then I'm sure they would have a bad reputation, but they dont.

worst case, you gotta strip the loop and stick a d5 in, but I bet it wont come to that.

Pump is fine i have the older pump ddc-1t-10w and i have run cpu, 3 rads, 2 gpu blocks, vrm block, northbridge, few 45 degrees fittings and was fine.

Thanks, that's good to know. I used to run a 2 rad CPU/GPU loop with an 18w and now run separate loops with 10w's but if I want to downsize I know the much quieter 10w will handle it :)
