Hard knot and Wrynose pass gown into the Eskdale valley then onto Wastwater is a nice little drive but can be slow due to narrow roads

Keswick is nice for a few hours

Depends at you’re after, food , shopping , pubs? or hiking , sight seeing?

The gingerbread shop in Grasmere is ace.

Keswick and Derwentwater with a walk up Catbells if you a nice hike, views are amazing. Ashness Bridge and Surprise View are other nice spots to stop by at in that area. Then the drive to Crummock Water and Buttermere via Grange, Little Town and Newlands Pass and then back to Keswick via Honister pass. Slate mine there is that's of any interest.
Fleetwith Pike is another nice hike with great views of Buttermere and Crummock Water
