It's not a matter of brand evolution (or devolution), it's a matter of market placement. At the moment Lamborghini are experiencing record sales with 2 models of supercar. Modern supercars simply do not have 4 doors, ergo it's a leap into the unknown (bearing in mind that things are long way from where they 'used' to be), I personally don't see a 4 door supercar working out. Anyone remember the Porsche 989 or Ferrari Pinin?, I don't, because it's a terrible concept, and it never took off.

Aston and Porsche are having a punt in the near future aren't they?. I'm probably totally wrong on that basis. If there isn't a market for it they'll no doubt create one, but IMO a supercar has no need for 4 doors/practicality.

Front end looks very Reventon, however the back looks vulgar, also, a 4-door with that nose just doesn't blend well tbh.

Indeed, it is an old class revisited. There is the 4 Seater Lotus but I doubt it from Bugatti or you get the Leyland effect.

Not entirely sure about it myself. It'll probably grow on me, but its the first Lambo I've looked at that I haven't instantly loved.

Reminds me of an Aston Martin Lagonda. Long bonnet, laid back cabin and stubby boot. I don't quite get the point of it for lamborghini but it's interesting.
