Lan keeps crashing

hi, old asus p5b deluxe board used for mining. the ethernet port keeps stopping. i then have to reinstall the driver every time to get it working again??
any ideas?

Don't know about fixes for that. You've tried reinstalling drivers already. Have you considered buying an ethernet adapter and seeing if that works better?

Have you tried a clean windows install?
It has to be a driver conflict. Try downloding directly from intel. Try bios update or even roll back.
Other rhan tht yes a pci e adaptor would do the job.

it is a clean install. it stays on for a couple of hours then just drops out till i reinstall drivers again. sometimes it takes 2 or 3 installs before it picks it up again
