Last night I let my PC go into sleep mode. This morning I woke up and turned on PC and for some reason I had no connectivity to my internet. I have tried many things to resolve the issue, including reinstalling network drivers and using system restore. Nothing has worked :( I have the symbol at the bottom left on the taskbar that shows that you are connected to the internet but it has a small yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it. Could someone please help me resolve thi issue :(

Not necessarily the problem is with your computer. Have you tried to reboot/switch-off-on your router/adsl modem?

It's possible the router's network port has gone to sleep. As above, reboot the router. I hope you've restarted the pc too? No mention of it in your post.

Have you tried turning it off and on:-)

Open command prompt ping the router then the dns server if the ping to the router works but the dns does not ring your isp and report a line fault

Okay, after a quite a while of moving things around, for some reason the problem resolved itself when I switched around the position of my homeplugs. This was a very stupid reason as they are supposed to work both ways.
Thanks for all the help guys!
