posted this in the custom support section but no reply so posting it here.

i got a new titan goliath setup friday and the case was shipped with a problem.

i have no idea why the system builder even touched it as nothing was using it or they found it like that when they opened the box and did nothing.
what's the best way to remove the screw?

Would it be possible to get at the back side of the screw with a pair of needlenosed pliers?

i have the back plate, funny thing is it wasn't inside the case but the motherboard box, no sign of the head of the screw.

also the power/hdd led plug wasn't connected i connected it and they still don't work.

the builder defiantly knew the case was defective, system is working fine though.

update: the hdd led plug was connected but not the power led which i plugged in the same way as the other connectors, i guess polarity isn't important for the reset/power buttons.

Difficult call but if it was me i would send back.
Looks like they have knowingly sent you a defective product.
Ring them up tommorrow.OCUK support is first class and i'am sure they will be able to sort you out

Definitely give them a call when you can as that is a problem caused either by them or even further down the line. They should be able to sort you out pretty sharpish ;)

hmm, i dont either, especially with hardware inside :S i would say long nose mole grips as suggested above and do a bit of a turn each time, may take a while but its better than using a hammer!!

I would take it back to ocuk to replacement new case if I were u, this damaged screw is unaccepted by ocuk built. Get in touch with ocuk customer support and they will sort it out for you. Let us know how you get on!

I blame rjkoneill ;)
How would you know if it was him, could be any staff ? lol
