Ive been asked to design an outdoor putting green area, ive had no experience in design, but i want to do it on the pc and i know my way around programs like photoshop.

What programs/techniques should i be using, autocad then colouring in photoshop ?

Is autocad hard to learn ?

Steep learning curve....

Why dont you draw out the course in photoshop using the pen tool or select tool and then colour it in. Have a look at other similar plans on the net and see how they are laid out.
