Hey fluidz,
glad to see your making some progress! Been there before man trying to get temps down, refitting the heatsink, re-applying TIM numourous times, not much fun really!
If you get the time (and headspace) try doing some CPU voltage scaling tests, that just involves turning down the vCore as much as possible while remaining stable in Prime etc. There is no downside to this process apart from it being a little time consuming. The upside is you may well be suprised how low you can get the voltage and what a big difference it makes to your temps!
I'm a big fan of ASUS but from my own experience I have concluded they really ain't that good at making heatsinks!
I think the ASUS Silent Knight II looks pretty interesting, especially if you have a windowed case with lots of copper and blue LEDs on the go but as far as I know it's not that good a cooler!
