I have a netgear wg511 v2 wireless pc card, in the pcmcia (?) card slot in the side

This is connected to the router here as in xp in the task bar it says status: connected, speed: 36.0 signal strength very good

but i cant get the internet on, like when i open firefox or explorer it just says address not found, for google or any site

Whats next guys ?

pinged my default gateway and its 100% loss

weird as it says connected ??
