Laptop crashing on log in

My girlfriends laptop keeps crashing whenever she tries to log into it. She has the password enabled and when she has entered it into the fields the laptop just completely freezes. I've told her to see if it runs in safe mode and she said it works fine. She has Vista 32bit.

Anyone got an idea what might be wrong with it?

Hi Tfleming, i dont know if it helps but you could try and run sigverif.exe to search for unsigned drivers.

Swapping threse for signed drivers should solve the problem.
