Laptop for Sketchup

How much would I need to spend on a laptop to run Sketchup.
Will be using it in a workshop so wanting to stay basic

Out of curiosity...what would you need to spend before you're out of the really budget items? Best bang for buck kinda thing?

Anything with a 1080p 15 inch screen would be ok. It is not demanding, and if you were really going to be pushing it's limits, I think you'd already know what rough spec you'd need?

Good point about the screen....didn't take that in to consideration!

I loaded win 10 and bought a new battery for an old Dell 1545...Sketchup 2017 won't work but 2016 does.....get a message saying to try enable hardware acceleration when trying to run 2017. Got a win 7 driver for the intel series 4 chipset to work but no joy with sketchup 2017

Also the graphics in sketchup are blurry...so 1080p it is!
