laptop gaming

I've got a Dell XPS M1710, 2.3Ghz Core Duo, 2GB RAm & 512MB Go7900GTX.

It plays pretty much anything I can chuck at it in really good resolutions (1920x1200), although to be honest it did struggle running F.E.A.R. but I read somewhere it was something to do with the limitations on the Go GFX drivers... come to think of it, I recently installed some modded drivers from guru so I may give it another go :)

I sold my system I use at work and my home gaming rig to get this lappy so that it would do both jobs. The problem now of course is when games start coming out which use the new physics cards I will probably want to go back to a desktop again - unless laptop's adapt the tech early enough?

i think it will be a long while until we see a dx10 mobile capable graphics card power consumption problems i reckon...

They're modded ones not official Nvidia one's.

i used to play hl2 on my old trusty t42 1.5ghz, ati 7500 :) and 768mb ram, not at max settings/res, but playable.

not tried installing any games on my new shiny t60 yet.
