My laptop has died, and i need to connect its hard drive to my pc. the laptop has a sata hard drive, and luckily my pc's motherboard has the sata interface. Will i need to buy a special cable to connect the laptop's hard drive to my pc (in the way that a laptop hard drive has a different ide interface than a pc's hard drive has), or would the sata cable from my pc be able to connect directly to the laptops hard drive? it's been a while since i last opened my pc, so can't remember the size of the sata cable in relation to the laptop's sata hard drive interface......
