Hi all,
Hope someone can help I want to put a larger HDD into my Laptop which has a 40GB HDD in it . So far I've tried a 120GB and 80GB HDD but it just says : Disk Read Error Occurred press CTR-ALT-DEL to restart .I can get into the 'limited' BIOS and preform an HDD diagnostic test which passes with both drives
When booting from the XP disk it sees the drives formats them, does the first part of the install but when it reboots I get the messege.
If I put the original drive back in it boots fine.
Could a 40GB HDD be a limit? I have looked on their website and the NX6110 does say ''Up to 100-GB 5400 rpm user-removable hard drive ''
Any suggestions?
Cheers
