hi, my wifes parents are looking for a notebook/laptop to replace their desktop as it has just died.
they dont use it very often, and its only real uses are web browsing and emails, with the occasional photo to print and letter to type.
i have had a look around and found a few ranging from £299-£350. this is the one im thinking is probably going to be best for them :

Buying guides

Both laptop brands are good, but the second one seems to be the best deal! Both are offering near enough same things but the Fujitsu seems to offer a bit more in terms of more processor speed, media card reader, a LITTLE smaller in size, only thing is the Fujitsu's got 1 less USB port than the Asus, and wireless seems a little less better than the Asus too. But overall, I think the Fujitsu seems your best bet =)

The CPU in the Fujitsu C900 is not a dual core CPU , I would guess its an error in the description... I would therefore advise the Asus is better however would look around for at least something with a Pentium Dual Core over the Celeron...
