If it is a SATA drive and Windows setup can't see it, then you'll be needing SATA drivers or force the controller into IDE mode in the BIOS.

Is the hard drive user accessible? If so it might be easier to buy a caddy and then do the disk in a second system...

the bios you cant really do anything apart from change the boot order....

ill try installing sata drivers though to see if that works...
