Yeah a laptop forum is a good idea, a lot of people i know have moved to laptops or are planning in the near future, mainly due to them having xbox360's for gaming and not needing the power anymore.

blasphemer!!!

yeah because you can't get better graphics than a 360 :p

I agree that there should be a section though. Although a word of warning I spent over a grand on mine and it broke after 13 months. They are impossible to repair , or should I say repair cheaply.

Even if you can take them apart getting spares for them are impossible too.

Try sourcing a motherboard or gfx card replacement for a laptop.

I'd advise anyone thinking of changing their desktop for a laptop to think really hard about it, unless you are really challenged for space then don't do it.

The reason other sub forums haven't been added is there is simply not enough need for them. Several forums have been requested over the years but there have been very few that have been worthwhile.

The quality of 360 games is enough for most people, only geeks need more! :p

it's not only the graphics that are the problem.

Lack of keyboard, mouse and games being 2X more expensive and having to pay to play them online .... all adds up.

Pointless really.

If you have a PC laptop you could just ask in Windows Hardware, if you have a Mac laptop then you ask in Mac Hardware.

The music forum was a fairly worthwhile addition imo.

I would like to see a lappy forum too.

Why is there even a Mac section when Overclockers don't sell Mac hardware?

In the strictest sense Mac should be considered a competitor. Especially if somebody decides to buy a Mac PC over one from OcUK based on advice from this forum.
