Laptop / Notebook section ?

Why is there even a Mac section when Overclockers don't sell Mac hardware?

and also becuase there are a growing number of mac users on this forum and they need a little area to go be "special" and camp in

I think we should see a laptop section, I know a lot members buying new laptops and it would be great to have a section dedicated to laptops.

Pointless really.

If you have a PC laptop you could just ask in Windows Hardware, if you have a Mac laptop then you ask in Mac Hardware.

Going by that logic then why have all the sub forums when they all could be put in the hardware section ?

And sinse when was a Laptop / Notebook classed as general Hardware as it's a complete computer with different advantages and problems over a standard
PC . Even if it doesn't warrant it's own section it could be added to the title of the Small form factor section as Mr_White suggested as a lot of SFF use laptop parts.

The reason other sub forums haven't been added is there is simply not enough need for them. Several forums have been requested over the years but there have been very few that have been worthwhile.

And a sub forum which consisted almost entirely of five pages of "Which laptop" should I buy?" would be pretty dull.

Yeah, i would vote for a laptop section, there are usually quite a few posts about them in General Discussion.

Sorry but there is just no point. These things have come up time and time again, and every time with the same result - not enough need for them.
