Laptop numberpad yay or nay

Numpad required for me, from my Everquest days I am used to using it and for any ARPGs (Diablo, PoE etc) I use mouse in left hand and the numpad for skills/potions. It also keep the main keyboard free for typing text chat.

Should also add on desktop I use a ROG Claymore with detachable 10 key so I can go TKL for FPS games which I play with WASD and mouse in right hand.

Don't like them. I like a fullsize separate keyboard on my PC, but a numpad on a laptop looks far too busy and as others have said, often results in other keys being moved around or slimmed down, or key space being made tighter.

I don't like numpads on laptops because I prefer the keyboard, trackpoint and trackpad to be central rather than offset.

I don't like trackpads at all, they get disabled when a mouse is connected to avoid accidental touches. I'll always have a mouse connected, so the trackpad is a waste of space.
