Laptop Over Heating

yeh 1.5 was stock i have been running ORTHOS for 32mins so far and no problems so what should i drop down to next. 0.975?
Thanks
just to confirm this isnt going to hurt cpu performance will it?

just run ORTHOS for about 10-15mins
i`d drop to 1.0v before u try 0.975v as just because mine goes that low doesnt mean yours will
yes the performance is the same, mines still running at the full 2.2gig as before

what temps you getting now?
before n after mod?

mine was 50c max before and after it was 37c max, but it does depend on your rooms temp

i have underclocked to 0.975 but still seems to be running hot :(
I have just checked my profiles in RM and its showing multiplier 6 as being 0.975 but the rest are still 1.2500 do i just drop these down?

Why are you bothering to underclock the cpu instead of just giving the laptop a good clean out.

Surely if the laptop was built to that spec then if it's hot then you need to look at the cooling as thats the cause of your problem, and not the volts.

what is your highest multiplier ?
sounds like u not setting the highest multiplier scroll down if u only see multiplier 6
on mine the highest multiplier is 11
read that website again it tells you everything u need to know
and yes u still need to make sure the heatsink n fan are as clear as pos
or it will still run hot

follow mine here, but you need to tick (6) 11x and set that to the volts you want to use, and tick the auto bottom right before u set the volts, also set to performance on demand like mine
also look for the set at startup on 1 of the pages in the program
