Laptop recommendation

I want to buy a laptop for the missus and would like some advice.
Used purely for internet and general office and therefor no widescreen would be OK. Budget £350 and the biggest screen available.
Any suggestions of what to buy and what to avoid. Help desperately needed, cheers.
