After:

- 15.6" screen (min 1080p)
- 9hr battery life with standard browsing
- Dedicated graphics (thinking MX150)
- Preferable < 2Kgs

Budget: £1200

What will the use be for the laptop. Your budget of £1200 seems a little high for something with MX150.

Browsing and very light gaming at 720p (Rome total war).

If I can spend a lot less, then great.

Hi @Cheetah Designs, I think you can get full 1080p HD gaming. With a lot more grunt than an MX150, you maybe able to install mods for Rome Total War and give it some nice eye candy.

- 15.6" Full HD Screen
- i5 7300HQ
- GTX 1060 GPU (A much better experience compared to MX150)
- 128GB SSD + 1TB (load windows fast and plenty of storage space)
- 8GB DDRIV. (More than enough memory BUT if you want to you can upgrade to 16GB )

Of course, with any kind of gaming laptop, you will sacrifice on battery performance when gaming.

There are other models we can recommend but given your budget and requirements £1200 we can help you save a little bit of money

R:TW isn't that demanding... you could probably play it on an Ultrabook with Intel graphics these days? £1200 seems bonkers for such requirements.

The reason I said MX150 is because I thought I could get something smaller and lighter.

Dell XPS15 hits all your main needs. The latest model is above your budget but there is often a discount code. The previous one is easily within budget and has a 1050Ti.
