It's probably been asked before, but how comes laptops can have massive resolutions (upwards of 1600x1024) on small screens yet desktop monitors can't?
I was amazed earlier today to see my mates laptop could go up to a whopping 2048x1280 (although it wouldn't have actually been able to do anything as the graphics card was pants) yet my 19" WS can only manage 1440x900
