Laptop screen problems

I have a Dell Ispiron 94000 , i have notice 3 green dots on the screen , can this be fixed , dell have told me that they will replace screen foc if i want to

Your advice would be great

Try this http://www.widowpc.com/2005/08/fix_dead_pixels.php it will only work if the pixels are stuck and not dead..I used it on my lcd monitor when I had 4 stuck pixels. Worked a treat! (did have to leave it running for about 36 hours though

thanks , they are not flashing , does this mean they are dead ? or this problem i can fix my self ?

Usually a "stuck" pixel is stuck on a particular colour (red, green, blue etc) whereas a dead pixel is usually just black. Again there are exceptions to this. Would be worth downloading and running that program just to see what happens!

might leave it running all night , see what happends , dell did say they would replace screen foc , but i would miss my laptop if it had to go away

i have put the pixel fixer over the 3 green dots , fingers crossed
