Laptop SSD

I'm just about to buy a new laptop where you can specify the storage installed. Which of the two options would be best performance wise as they're similar prices?

Option A

Samsung 950 Pro 256GB for the operating system and a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB for everything else.

Option B

Samsung 950 Pro 512GB for everything.

Option A, just for the space. Performance outside the lab/benchmarks will be to all human interpretation the same.

ETA: 500gb isn't much once you add a few games if thats something you do. If it's not, I always feel happier with a separate drive for OS and games.

If its for gaming then option A, if it's not for gaming option B.
