Been looking at maybe swapping the Macbook I've just bought for a Windows Laptop (really like W7)
But ideally I would like something with decent battery life, I wanted a netbook but after trying one in a shop it seemed very slow at the most basic of tasks.
If I could get a decent affordable Dell with a battery that would last I dunno 4-5 hours I would be happy but does this exist?
I have seen the Acer Timeline and they seem well priced and nicely built, and the battery is said to last up to 7 hours in real world conditions but I am a bit concerned that the Core 2 Solo processors might not be all that much quicker than a netbook, also they have no dedicated GPU.
