Laptop with spec to run Oculus Rift S

hmm, its not easy then, most have 1650 GTX cards which are too slow for rift S

does it HAVE to be a laptop ? they are so expensive

I started off thinking I could buy a HDMI to Display port adapter at £10, then found out it was a new laptop I'd need …. Bought one already at £650 that I had to return
So I'm now hoping I can get a solution within £1000 budget, if pushed much beyond that then it would probably need to be goodbye Oculus Rift (and a very disappointed child)

If you search the various shops online. There are laptops out there with an RTX 2060 GPU, I7 10750H CPU or a Ryzen 5 (4800) CPU For around £1000. If you post the specs in this thread before you buy, we can tell you if it's good enough or not. Just don't post a link to the laptop or the price. It's against forum rules.
