Laptops with video input? Any recommendations?

I want to get rid of my desktop system and get a high end laptop, as I need to move out of my flat next summer as all my flatmates are finishing uni and going off wherever. I also intend to go to uni myself the following year, so I don't want to have to lug around my current PC and 24" monitor twice in the space of a year.

However, I would like to keep my PS3, so I'm looking for something that has video input of sorts. In an ideal world HDMI input, but the only models I can find with anything at all are the Lenovo Ideapad Y710 and Y730, which have VGA input.

Anyone know of any other laptops with AV input, either existing ones or due to be released? I appreciate it's a slighty niche requirement, but find it odd that there are so few laptops with this feature - even the Qosmios, which used to use AV input as a selling point, haved totally dropped it by the looks of it.

Does your 24" monitor have HDMI input for the PS3? It would be easier to lug around a laptop and a 24" screen than a PC too.

I'm not sure there are any laptops with an HDMI input... Output, yes... but not input. I may be wrong of course!

its the monitors that have the inputs , and graphics cards with the outputs, since a laptop screen is only designed to be used with its base you will not find one with any inputs.

the only thing i can think if is if you buy a usb tv tuner and feed the 360 into that.

Generally though you're not going to get HDMI input on those... If anything, it'll be aerial or composite...
