I'm not sure if this is the right section for this but it's to do with hard drives, anyway i have 6 HD's on my motherboard but the motherboard is old now, it's a Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-GEN3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard bought back in 2012, with a 2600k cpu, this motherboard as only 2 x SATA 6Gb/s all the other ports are SATA 3Gb/s slowwwwwwwwww, what i was wondering would it be possible to install a Host Bus Adapter card or something else to get somemore SATA 6GB/s ports onto this system, what i want to know is if i do install a card into this system, it would be using a PCI express slot, but i also use one of the slots for a nvidia 1060 video card, would there be enough bandwidth/ lanes to run a host card aswell as a video card?
Any suggestions are all welcome.

Mechanical HDDs won't be using the full bandwidth of the SATA 3Gb/s ports. Upgrading them to SATA 6Gb/s wouldn't make any difference. It'd be different if they were SSDs.
