no they aren't - they are unfounded fears based on ignorance.
talk of a black hole that destroys the planet are moronic and can be scientifically proved to be so.

So if it doesn't kill us all will you give us a public apology for not listening to every major scientific body?
on the other hand if we all die horribly in a black hole I'll apologise
well from my relatively small amount of knowledge on astrophysics, I was under the understanding that self sustaining and the "dangerous" black holes were created by a star imploding/collapsing in upon itself, which requires a massive amount of mavity and energy, probably more than the LHC can produce. So I think we're safe there as a black hole that small would collapse upon itself and cease to exist, but as I said, my knowledge is pretty low on the subject
