Ok, I know this bridges a few categories but I'm posting in here in the hope of getting a less biased opinion than from either the PC or Console forums.
At present I've got a 32" HTPC setup, and in the study I've got my gaming rig with 22" screen. I'm getting less and less enthralled at sitting at my PC as opposed to lounging on a comfy sofa (tough life eh!) and so I'm toying with two ideas....
1) Get a big screen for the PC, wallmount it as a cloned display, slap a beanbag in the study, and hey presto, a relaxed gaming setup.
Pros: Already got lots of PC games
Cons: More expensive than a console
2) Add a console (360 or PS3) to the HTPC.
Pros: Cheap(er)
Cons: But I'd have to buy games again, and since I have them on Steam, no trade-in value.
So I'm not going to be first person with these thoughts, any opinions out there?
