Lasagna, chips and coleslaw

Don't know if I've ever had coleslaw with it, but literally had lasagne and chips for dinner tonight, it is a delicious combination :). Can imagine coleslaw going with it too.

i usually have it with mash and peas but sometimes chips. I do remember having it with salad and homemade coleslaw.

my sister is the odd one, she says lasagne should be eaten by itself ( in a larger portion i guess )

Your sister eats it on its own, you have mash and peas and she’s the odd one! Re-evaluation needed there I feel.

I don't mind chips with lasagne, but I've never tried coleslaw with lasagne. I can imagine that the coleslaw might make an interesting dip for your chips, but I'm not sure about it going with the lasagne.

I think I'll try adding coleslaw with my chips and lasagne next time I have it. It might even be nice.

Why are some people on here spelling it with -a? Thought it was lasagne (spell checker draws a red line underneath if I type lasagna).

Anyway, lasagne is +salad and maybe +garlic bread although that's already double-carbs. +Chips is double-carbs even more so.

Why stop with chips? That's entry-level noobism. Just dump the "lasagna" [lol] and said chips into a blender, throw in a few strands of 'slaw' and inject the lumpy mess directly into your eyeball. That's the kind of **** worth making a thread about. Eating? With your mouth? That's so 2021. RRRrrrrrr alpha.

Okies, I have looked up lasagne vs lasagna on Google. It seems that the plural (-e) refers to the dish that uses multi sheets. Therefore lasagne is the correct spelling for the dish. A lasagna (-a) is a single sheet. You don't make a lasagne using a single sheet.

i can make extremely nice mash and it goes with most things in my opinion, and greens are good for you.

i could not eat just lasagne by itself, well i could but the calories and fat would be very high i feel
