laser harp

Couldn't decide whether this should go in the music forum, GD or GH, but I'm sure a mod will move it if it's in the wrong place.

Has anyone ever seen something that looks a bit like a laser harp, but uses a big thick light beam? It took me about 1/4 an hour on google just to find laser harps, but that's the closest I've got. If anyone's not sure what a laser harp looks like it's like this:

If my mind has just made up the really thick light instrument thing then does anyone know where I'd be able to get a laser harp from? I've found sites telling me how to make one, but I really don't like the idea of that...

places that tell you how to make them cost them at about $500 for framed ones - Ideally I'm not looking for the laser ones anyway - rather the ones that uses beams of light rather than lasers.

I've seen one of those harps at a concert in Paris a few years ago, it did look very cool.

I take it that blocking the beam of light with your fingers causes a sensor to go off and makes a sound? Or is it just something pretty?

Jean Michel Jarre uses one of these in his Beijing Concert (fairly recently). Wouldn't mind having a go at building one myself but I've got other things to spend money on.
