Laser mouse safe?

It will be safe as long as your kids dont try and swallow it i guess. If its a wired mouse your ok as you can yank on the cord until it comes up. If its wireless your in trouble.

Safe enough! I have a Microsoft Sidewinder and can't see the laser with naked eye. Strangely though, my phone camera picks it up.

On my Logitech G7, if I pick it up and hold it right against my eye I can see the laser, and my phone (K800i) can see it as a bright blur from about 12" away.

the moment you lift it the laser get's turned off, my logitech mouse works like that
